Thank you so much Jackie. I'm glad Sahra's workout is different.

I would agree that Miranda takes a long time to get started with the workout with her Aging Backwards for Beginners. I did those for the first time last week. It is a little frustrating waiting to get started!
I saw this differently. I work with beginners, extremely deconditioned beginners with chronic pain. For these people Miranda's small movements while she's taking a long time getting started ARE getting started. People can be petrified to move, even the least little bit. An extremely slow start up coaxes the body into movement and reassures the person that it's going to be ok.

I agree....it is a great dvd for newbies to CS/Ess. I think those of us familiar to the method are ready to get moving, though. I'm glad that Miranda made this workout as it is a good beginner workout.

Does anyone know about how long it takes for Essentrics to be sold through Amazon? I can usually request items like this through my library system, but I have to wait until they're on Amazon. I'll probably check out the YouTube offerings first, but this looks like a good dvd to start with for those of us who are new to the program. The Essentrics offerings have really grown in the past 1-2 years!

I finally did this dvd today (the barre chapter). I bought it from amazon and my son gave it to me for Mothers Day which was yesterday in the UK. I have to tell you...I LOVE it.
