I read that sometimes calcium deposits in the scalp can cause problems, and since I'm on well water, I have a lot of calcium in my water. And since magnesium is needed to balance out calcium, I figured I'd try it.

And after a month, I've got some regrowth. It's not visible to anyone else but me, but it's better than it was. Small victories!
Lori, That's great!

What did you end up using for a shampoo?

My regular John Frieda brunette shampoo. I tried some others but they made my really flat. I think it was the vitamins in the aloe and the magnesium to cut through the calcium build up that has helped. I don't think it's noticeable to anyone else but at least some spots have some small growth.

That's great news! I have to look into that because the shampoo I mentioned up-thread (Pura d'or) isn't doing squat.

Whoa, thank you for that. I'm always hesitant to buy a huge amount, so I'll find a smaller container to start.

The product that is sold retail is different. Customer service told me this. The one off their website has Hyaluronic Acid & Vitamin C which I don't think the ones sold retail have. Check the label.
