I love her high step workouts and wish she'd make some more (there are two in her Cathe Live library as well, but that's only 2 out of nearly 250)! They are great circuit training workouts and have a minimum of dread factor for me -- I guess because the aerobic intervals are relatively short? I just find them a lot of fun. I haven't done one in a while since I had foot surgery in early 2018, but I'm thinking it might be time to take out the beginner/intermediate one and give it a go on one of my circuit training days later this week. Thanks for the inspiration!

I have high step circuit and have liked it although I haven’t done it in awhile. There’s a move where you step on the box with one leg and kick with the other once you’re up there and it’s a challenging and unique move. I remember it because it was so balance focused and functional fitness forward to me. If I remember correctly, this is the least advanced of the high step workouts.

It's a good one. I had High Step Challenge many years ago and it was too advanced for me, I suspect High Step Advanced would be even more so. I don't mind a set of leg press here and there but that would be overkill for me these days. |
