Firm website closing

It's official, the website is closing down. Firm videos will now be available on Gaiam TV. And yeah ! as a loyal customer I can subscribe and get the first month for 99 cents!

. This probably means no new DVDS in the near future at least and maybe no more firm DVDS being sold after the current inventory expires?

Wow. Feels like the end of a era. I used to be a Firm Believer subscriber before I discovered VF back in 2003. So sad to see them go. It's the way of the future though. Lots of instructors seem to be going digital with online streaming and downloads.

Me too! and that influenced my screen name.

The Firm is such an integral part of my fitness development.

Wow, hard to believe that there will not be any more Firm DVDs. The fitness industry is definitely changing.

Don't give up hope yet! If you're on Facebook please like Emily's new FIRM Facebook page. It is The FIRM-Emily. She is keeping everyone up to date on what is up with The FIRM including ALL options on there!

I'm not counting them out. The FIRM still has plenty going on!

Wow, greedy little Gaiam - first My Yoga Online, and now The Firm merges with them! They must be trying to be the reigning Netflix for Fitness.

I guess I'm not that surprised

Actually I like Gaiam's site. Maybe this will help The Firm to continue to make new material (??) I do feel bad for those who rely on the DVDs being available though.

Gaiam bought the Firm in 2006. They have produced all of the Firm videos since then, but are not going to be making new ones. Fortunately, they didn't buy the Firm studio.
