#14 JESSICA SMITH: Walk Strong 3

During my 15 min afternoon break I did 1 Mile of Motivation. After work, I did Boogie I.T.. Nice way to end the work day!

I love that Jessica has her mom working out with her!

T2B, I've been wanting to try Shaun T's Cize, but then wonder if I have enough coordination for it.

Day 11 - Michelle Dozois Body Fit 360 Body Weight Dance Conditioning Volume 2 - didn't like this one as much as Volume 1. The moves were good, the music was good. I just felt like Michelle didn't cue well enough. I found myself looking at the screen, pausing, and rewinding quite a bit. Very frustrating. Virgin workout, not virgin instructor

Day 12 - Tonique Cardio Mat - Only did 45 minutes of this. Toughie, and not all mat work. Had some squats, curtsey squats, and plyo moves. Thank goodness it was unweighted, but my knees are still a bit sore. This workout is 80 minutes, but no way was I getting all that done today lol! The 45 minute mark is a good place to stop though, because it looks like she stays to the mat after that part.

bubbles - Try CIZE for a few minutes after you finish your main workout. There are plenty of opportunities to work on that coordination since Shaun T starts with a base move, repeats it quite a few times before layering on another move and then you repeat the whole sequence before layering on another move. CIZE is a lot of fun even though there’s lots of TIFTing. The music is good so it’ll motivate you to keep bopping to the beat. Thanks for reminding me that I need to continue to work through that series too.

#15 JANIS SAFFELL/GUILLERMO GOMEZ: Hardcore Kickbox Circuit (dust bunny): I enjoyed this. Janice & Guillermo were dating at the time, or married, not sure. Isn’t Guillermo & Jessica Smith married to each other? I hope Janice is out there living her best life!

T2B, yes that was Janis's Guillermo, now Jessica's Guillermo . Thanks for the tips on Cize. I'm going to keep an eye out on eBay.

Rest Day yesterday.

Day 13 - Horizontal Conditioning Getting Stronger. Only did Workout 1, as my wrist started hurting. I don't think it was because of the workout, but I know it didn't help. I had to add my own workout, which was a 5 minute upper body warm up from Mr. and Mrs. Muscle. I'm sure I tried Getting Stronger when it came out, but I know for sure it was probably too much for me lol! I'm stronger now, and this workout still kicks. I am still working on my pushups, and I freaking hate those plank up downs. Stephanie Oram looooves them in all her XTFMax workouts, and I'm over them. They are worse than mountain climbers for me.

Yesterday was a rest day for me too.

I never got on the Horizontal Conditioning bandwagon. I have one in my cart at Mary’s site that I may buy when she has her Labor Day sale. Good job, those up and down planks are hard.

I ended up ordering the last Body Groove DVD (House Party) that I didn’t have. I bought 3 other DVDS at the close out price.. These were not on my radar either until last winter and at first I felt like I wasted my money thinking I can do my own freestyle dancing why am I paying someone to do it. Then I actually did a workout, realized that my freestyle dancing is a song or two whereas these are 30 + minutes and fun. I can’t look at the screen because I’m so focused on whether they’re going to bump into each other. So I just listen to the prompts and have groovy fun!

I was looking at a clip of a Body Gospel workout recently on YT and I swear one of the participants looked exactly like Misty.

#16 AUTUMN Calabrese ??? 21 Day Fix: Total Body Cardio Fix (virgin). Quick and easy. These have surrenders which are one of my most hated exercises.

T2B I like surrenders . And I loooove Body Groove!

Day 14 - Jane Fonda Easy Going Workout. This workout was a bit too easy going for me, and not enough of strength or cardio to feel like I did something. It's good to just keep movement, but I have enough dvds for that. I also did about 14 minutes of Debra Bono's African Grace workout, but I just couldn't get into that one either. Always seemed like she cued late or not enough or something. I know with enough practice I could get the moves down, but I have too many workouts to be bothered. I will probably trade this one too.

I have just been updating my original post in the thread from July. From 7/19-/8/20 I did 21 new or revisited instructors.

I still have these left from my original list (and an extra) bc I ended up finding other workouts along the way with new instructors that I tried.


8/24 Heather Graham 10MS Cardio Hip Hop House Party --Really didn't care for this one too much.

#17 CASS MARTIN/LORETTA BATES: Zumba Rush] + CATHE BOSS LOOPS: Glutes & Core - I used the lime green band for the whole workout. For the standing work, I should have used the blue band. I kept adjusting the band and still didn’t feel much in my legs or butt during the standing work. I felt the floor work though. I skipped the core work but it looked good. Felt more like a cardio legs workout. Good music and will make a nice sub for XTrain Legs, Lean Legs & Abs & Great Glutes.

Those are the workouts I have left to do. I'll keep working on them!

I have non-buyer's remorse over not buying Cathe's new ones. But I made my choice and saved that money to put toward growing my Halloween village even more, which excites me so much!

#18 MISTY TRIPOLI - House Party Workout 1(virgin) - This was a lot of fun, only 22 minutes but it got me moving this morning. We’re in another heat wave so my energy is low. Got the summer blues!

Vantressta - so is that the rest of your untried/dust bunny workouts? If so you’ve done a great job whittling down the list. I probably have at least another 100 untried/dust bunny workouts. I keep buying because I know one day, eventually, no one will be making DVDs.
