Con - short warm-up. But the first few exercises are extensions of the warm-ups.

I was sweating a lot in those 30 minutes. bubbles - Workout 2 is metabolic weights.

#8 TRACEY STAEHLE: Cardio Kickbox Challenge (dust bunny). Still very enjoyable. Love that Jericho and Josef co-lead.

My only Stacey regret is not buying her metabolic series since it’s not available anywhere. Boo.

T2B, I believe I have that Mike Donavanik workout . I will have to try it, and be a sweaty mess I guess lol! Anything is better than PHA3.

ETA: Got my days mixed up lol! I didn't record my cardio from the day before.

Day 7 - KCM BoxFit Boxing. This was another goodie boxing workout with KCM. She excels with boxing and kickboxing cardio.

Day 8 - Dana Pieper Everybody Fitness Exercise Your Options - Simply Strength. This dvd has several workouts on it. I've done the Cardio Quick Fix, but don't believe I've ever completely finished Simply Strength. At least, I don't remember it, so I'm counting it as a virgin workout lol! This was a toughie, even with 8 pound weights.

#9 - PAUL KATAMI: Burn & Build (dust bunny). Still one of my hardest workouts. I started with a 15# kettlebell and a 12 # weight but had to drop to a 8# dumbbell. A high step is used as well. I was sweating even more than I did during PHA. . I may need a power nap later today.

Mike’s workout got me really good in the core. Still very sore today.

T2B, many years ago I tried Burn and Build. I liked it very much but could only get about halfway through it. Hmmm...I may have to try it once my knees are cooperating.

Day 9 - Aimee Nicotera Take 20 Volume 2 - Cardio Step and Cardio Grooves. Around 40 minutes of cardio combined. Simple moves, but fun!

Happy Saturday!

#10 GAY GASPER: CIA 2601 - Cardio Step Express, 70 mins (virgin) . I’m not a previewer so I jumped right in. Gay is great at cueing so I got about 85% of the workout no problem. I was on the wrong foot a few times but I just kept moving. Gay layers quickly. I really enjoyed this and look forward to doing it again. I used a 4 inch step. I rarely go higher than 4 inch because I just don’t want to work any harder than I do on a 4 inch step. Still got a great, sweaty, steady state workout. .

bubbles - I keep adding workouts to my cart at Mary’s site. Your workouts sound really good, too!

#11 AMY DIXON: Super Fit Bod (virgin) . Another winner. I bought all of Amy’s workouts that I didn’t have during one of Mary’s sales. Amy is such a great trainer. 8 inch step, modifier is using a 4 inch step. One set of hand weights. I’m not sure what Amy and crew were using but I used 8#’s. The cardio was done on the step, basic moves to get your heart rate up. The Fat Burning Interval is jumping on/off the step which is doable because Amy was going at a reasonable speed. The weight rounds are metabolic type moves. The chapters are Warm-up, Total Body Chisel, Fat Burning Interval, Total Body Sculpt, Calorie Torching Interval, Total Body Firmer, Fat Blasting Interval, Cool Down & Stretch & Bonus: Tight & Toned Core. I skipped the core work. The workout felt intermediate to me and I enjoyed it very much! Lots of sweat, again!

T2B, both those workouts are really good! I haven't done Super Fit Bod in years, as I'm going through some virgins. I remember it being super sweaty for me

I did not do any workouts this weekend, as I went on a mini vacay with the Bubbles. I planned to do some yoga (even bought my yoga mat) but alas, it wasn't meant to be.

Day 10 - Dana Pieper Everybody Fitness Exercise Your Options - Interval Tube Conditioning. I liked, but didn't love, this workout. I expected more strength work. I felt every body part got worked, but felt it moved too fast to really do the type of strength training I wanted to do. However, I still liked the workout enough to try it again, now that I know what to expect.

bubbles - glad you were able to get away.

Yesterday was a rest day.

#12 SHAUN T: Max 30 Cardio Challenge (virgin). Uh boy, I knew I was in trouble when they started with jumping jacks. Who decided jumping jacks are a warm-up move? Can’t say that I enjoyed this. I didn’t think any move was difficult but this was not the workout to do after a day off or without a proper warm-up. We shall see how I feel going forward. Shaun T is as charismatic as ever. He has a great modifier - intensity without impact. I followed the modifier some but mostly I was thinking I’m sleepy and want to go back to bed.

The workout starts at a 💯 . Signature Shaun T moves - Plyometrics, plank position, etc. The beat of the music got faster as the workout progressed. Shaun T made some comments that made me laugh. Anytime I can laugh is a win!

#13 DENISE AUSTIN: Totally Firm (dvd-virgin). I bought the DVD about a month ago from Best Buy. I have this workout on VHS and remembered doing it once or twice back in the day so bought it on a whim, more of a nostalgia buy.

Pros
Filmed on a beach
Lovely sounds of the waves hitting the beach
Denise actually does 99% of the workout
Slow rep speed so can use heavy weights

Cons
DVD-R (I wouldn’t have bought it if I had known it was DVD-R)
Denise didn’t say anything about burning butter (I laugh every time she says this).

I’ll probably do this again when my energy is low and I don’t feel like working out (like this morning)
