Today decided to mix things up and did Heather's other Knee friendly cardio. It has 2 dread-worthy intervals, the crab thing and the bear kick, but I realized that I was trying to do that one with my knees just hovering above the ground and Heather had hers higher up, which was much easier (though still hard). But made it through, and I guess it's good not to always do the same cardio. I've been having trouble doing yoga on my own and getting any good yoga routine so I decided to work through Sarabeth's 20 minute yoga set. Yesterday was #1. 20 minutes always seems doable. I will try to get #2 in later today.
Diana, I may have missed your post about your Pastor, but adding my best wishes. Yes, Covid is still around, which is really annoying. I am starting teaching next week and am going to need to wear a mask again it seems, which I really wish I didn't have to. But if I get sick, then I will have to miss a lot of work, which I can't afford to do. And students are a hotbed of viruses in the best of circumstances since they live in close quarters. I am hoping they can come up with a vaccine that works better against current strains, but that isn't expected until Oct/Nov I've heard. Sadly lots of people are getting it and some for a second time. But now it's less deadly, so that's a blessing -- and they can treat it better.
Cheryl, yay for finishing taxes and good luck fixing up the studio. I bet you will be excited to get that done. I am in the process of moving my office as our building is being renovated soon. Moved some boxes in last night and set off an alarm so that was a bit of a mess (luckily the campus police are very nice as per previous moving event, when one officer joined in with carrying my bookcase).
Cynthia, you will be happy to hear as part of my August shape up, I purchased Jill's strength set -- 5 20 minute workouts on her site. Want to start #1 later (and then do my 20 minute yoga). Hope your knee settles down. I'm glad my knee is doing well, perhaps thanks to Melt.
