someone said they liked this one vs. the first "fit in 10" video.

I tried getting the first one on ebay last week, but was outbid.

oh - another thing is that the 50% off for Belly Fix seems to have been extended. there's no deadline shown.

I wish they would discount the original one. if anyone finds a 50% deal let me know. I suppose I could order from the rodale store and use CUSTOMER25 to get 25% off.

My dvd, ball & "Eating & Training Plan" came today. I will not be able to even look at it until Thursday. I hope to have some info on it by the weekend.

Okay, I've watched all the workouts now & have written details on them. However, I don't have time to post all of the details now, I will just have to do 1 dvd at a time. I will not have time to post anything tomorrow, because I have to work. I actually viewed the dvd's in reverse order; I started with disc 3, then 2, then 1. I think I will like disc 1, which is just different abs workouts. I don't have high hopes for the other discs, but a few of the workouts might be good as an add-on.

I am assuming all the discs have the same separate warm up & cooldown. The warm up is too stretchy for me, I like to warm up to get warm, & I have never liked stretching during a warm up. The cooldown looks good, though--lots of lower body stretches. 3 levels are shown: beginner, intermediate & advanced.

Disc 1 is called, Belly Breakthrough:

Total Core: pilates roll ups holding ball, advanced does a v-sit at the top, she does a hold, then moves again

frog press legs with ball between knees, thighs, or feeet--lower body moves only, she does a hold, then presses again

Half a teaser with ball--crunch with legs up or at a diagonal, another static hold, then moves again

elbow planks with ball between knees, knees up & down, hold & move again

U-boat put ball behind low back, knees in v-sit, lower feet both or one at a time, then hold & move again

you do 2 rounds of these moves. 9:45 long


Lower Belly Blast:

leg drops with ball behind head, knees or ankles

scissors with ball behind head arms straight up or back at an angle

reverse crunches with ball behind head, between knees or between ankles

criss cross legs with no ball, or between knees or ankles

reverse crunch with a leg drop & static hold with the upper body

You do these moves 3 times total. 10:05 long


Waist Trainer:

leaning back on ball, pull arms side to side, advanced does this in a v-sit

static oblique cross with ball between knees or between ankles with table top knees

woodchop crunch with ball, advanced table top knees

Russian twists holding ball, advanced in v-sit

side planks with arm reaching through, beginner on knees with ball between knees, intermediate no ball & straight legs, advanced ball between ankles

ball between knees or ankles, you do full sit ups & punch side to side (knees are bent with feet on floor.)

Do these moves 2 times. 10:50 long

Even though these workouts are labelled a certain part of the abs, each looks to work all areas of the abs. Because all of the workouts are done in rounds, you could do a shorter version of the workouts, or do just 1 round of one workout, then do 1 round of another workout, etc.

Jenn - thanks for the detailed review..

the last time i ordered from prevention/rodale was Drop 2 Sizes. the length of time shipping, IIRC, was akin to media mail - about 20 days to Hawaii.

I finally got this today. But I also got KCM's two new ones. Feast or famine. In the morning, I'll probably do one of the Belly Fit segments and a 30-minute Kelly.

USPS Parcel Select. I don't think I've heard of that one but it sure is slow!

I did the first one on the first DVD (Total Core) and really liked it. I'm going to try to do one of these each morning until I've done them all.

I'm really enjoying these! I've done 5 out of the 9 so far. They all have been a worthwhile 10 minutes and have all emphasized abs.
