Friday morning our washing machine died so I ended up doing a lot of research on new ones and never worked out. Saturday was supposed to baking at a friend's house but we had to postpone a day so hubby came home from work and we went and bought new washer and dryer from the appliance store we bought everything from 16 years ago. They will be delivered tmrw. The rest of the day I spent baking two cakes for cake balls and a pie plus putting up my cemetery. Of course we had barely a breeze for the previous couple weeks and Saturday was the first day in a while of 15+ mph wind so by bedtime I had already restaked two tombstones twice and then brought 4 in. The ground is so hard from lack of rain that nothing wants to stick in. I even bent a plastic stake. Yesterday was fun baking even though we were both tired, and we finished a lot earlier than usual so I was home in time for the White Sox game (which we won!). When I got home I saw the rest of my tombstones were down so brought them all in. Today I will try watering the ground where I want the stakes and see if I can get them in better. Will also workout, clear out the laundry room and clean out the pantry.

I posted a few more Halloween pics if anyone is interested. I'll try to be back later to check in workouts.

Those are great Vannie! I love the tree and witches hats suspended from the porch ceiling. And the skeleton that drank too much.

We got a very heavy wet snow the last two days so our drought is over for now! Maybe up to 8" or more but hard to tell. It should soak in pretty quickly I think.

We also finally got our furnace/AC panel replaced yesterday so we have a working furnace now and even though AC days are over for the year, that is functional too. It's been 4 months with that bad panel...couldn't get anyone to come out of town. We bought two window AC's to handle the summer heat and an extra portable heater plus used the wood stove but we didn't have much wood ready so it wasn't a great back up in that sense. I feel so spoiled and cozy having heat again.

I don't think I'll keep up with points the remainder of this month but I'm back on track with my program so that feels good.

Vannie, I love the Halloween pictures! Thanks for sharing.

Katie, I am glad you got your furnace going. Is it almost time for the furnace?

Sherry, I hope things are cooling off in your part of the world.

I have been doing better in the last week or so. I'm not doing great, but way better than I was.

We have PT Conferences Tuesday. They are virtual again. So far I have three scheduled.

I'm adding my own creation for a Halloween workout.

My idea was to do the workout to Thriller. Edited: made no sense the way I wrote it originally. So maybe this will be better: Do each exercise for 31 sec work/10 sec rest, 31 sec rest between rounds, 1-4 rounds.

Thrusters
Hand to hand kettlebell swings
Reverse lunges
Inverted rows
Lateral lunges
Lat (ribcage) pullovers
Elevated pushups
Renegade rows

I'm planning to do this one and The Pumpkin Workout by Kindal Boyle ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJKN...dWRhj1&index=4) on Halloween (or possibly the day before since I don't usually workout on Sundays and may just binge horror movies that day).

I had thought about doing a Halloween 5k on the 30th but I've barely ran this fall and haven't even worked out that much so probably won't do it. I did workout today, though. Four more off the Halloween list. I liked two, one was okay and didn't like the other one. But I hit my gym and sweated it out and that's the important part!

I'm still getting over my cold, but I'm over the worst. It's been a long three weeks!

Vannie, the Thriller workout sounds tough! Great job on doing all the Halloween workouts. I know Jessica had a Halloween Tabata with Peanut dressed in different costumes. I wonder if that one is on your list?

Sherry, you have had a rough fall with the colds! I hope you kick it soon and ward off anymore! Thanks for the Jessica link. I'll add it to the list. We have well over 120 listed!

Katie, I can't believe you had snow already! Temps have dropped pretty dramatically here in the last couple weeks. We've been in the 30s overnight this week and I've had to start wearing a jacket for some of our walks. Glad you got the furnace/AC taken care of.

MT, thanks! I added a new pic today. I finally have my reaper! Next year's new thing will hopefully be a scarecrow. Hope PT conferences went well.

Next week my friend and her kids and I are going to see Dracula the ballet. I am so excited! I have Halloween candy bought, just need to figure out my costume. I bought these great plaid pants that are like a mustard yellow base color at Walmart and matching Tshirt thinking I would go as Jan Brady and then realized kids would have no idea who she was. I bought a cloak/robe thing for myself when I bought the reaper's but somehow forgot I'm so short and never considered if it would fit. I'm pretty sure it's gonna be too long. I have costumes from previous years so I have stuff to choose from, just wanted smthg a little different. If i could do makeup I thought about being a zombie prom queen but i don't own any makeup or the patience to use it!
