I just started the audiobook Losing It by Valerie Bertinelli. I like that she is so candid and frank. I'm still finishing Without Fail by Lee Child.

I see the Agatha Raisin series is on this list. It’s one of my favourites!

I just finished The Last Green Valley by Mark Sullivan.

I am working on either via audio or book:

The Last Bookshop in London
The Rose Code
Dear Mrs. Bird

I just finished Louise Penny's Madness of Crowds, which was fantastic. What a relief since the July Daniel Silva release was so awful (those along with Maisie Dobbs are the only series I always preorder).

I finished the Lady Sherlock series and decided I should follow it up with the original, lol. So I have read A Study in Scarlet and The Sign of the Four and now I'm working on The Hound of the Baskervilles.

One of my all-time fave celebrity memoirs is We're Going to Need More Wine by Gabrielle Union because she is so brutally honest but also hilariously funny.

I recently finished Stephen King's Lisey's Story, and loved it. Of course.

I tried reading the classic Walden by Henry David Thoreau. Sorry to say I gave up halfway through. I was skimming pages bored, so why waste those reading hours. Everyone in my reading circle who has read it, when the book comes up in conversation dreamily says "ah, Walden" with a sigh and a smile. I figured it was time to be carried away on the Walden Wave but it just seemed like the ramblings of a narcissistic old hermit. There was one chapter focused on nature that I enjoyed.

Other than that I'm trying to finish all the non-fiction lingering on my Kindle in an effort to meet my Goodreads reading challenge.

My daughter had to read this in high school and haaaated it. Fortunately, they read it throughout the whole school year and only read little bits at a time. It has such great reviews!

I did too! Ordered it from the library and saw that she has a new book coming out and I ordered that one too!

I've recently read a whole bunch of books I have mixed feelings about - liked parts a lot, disliked others. Just started If the Creek Don't Rise and don't have high hopes (I'm really picky with fiction). Maybe it's just me - stressful time and struggling with terrible insomnia so maybe I'm just cranky.
