Can we talk about 80 day obsession RESULTS

I see that there are a few long, long threads regarding 80 day obsession. I’m working my way through them. In the meantime can anyone chime in with their results please? Thank you.

I'm interested as well. I am thinking about doing this rotation.

I guess there aren’t many people that did it!

I did it when it first came out. For me, and I followed the nutrition, I had some tightening, toning and some weight loss. Nothing over the top or dramatic like I have seen advertised. I was hoping for more, but I did enjoy it though and will probably do again in the future.

Hi! I did it all the way through and here are my results and my final thoughts on the program (from the long thread link below).

I plan to do it again starting April 8th (after a couple of races I have on my schedule). There were others who finished the program and gave their thoughts as well in this thread:

http://forum.videofitness.com/showth...ight=Obsession

*****************

Total overall for 80 Days:

Weight: (- 1.6 lbs.)
Chest: (-2.5")
Waist: (-1.5")
Hips: (-1.5")
Thighs: (-2.0")
Calves: (-.5)
Biceps: (-2.5)

Total inches lost = 10.5"
Total weight lost = 1.6 lbs.

My thoughts on the program are:
1) It's total body even though it mainly targets the glutes and core.
2) The program didn't seem repetitive even though you were doing the same exercises for an entire phase.
3) Loved the interaction of the backgrounders with Autumn and each other.
4) The workouts were sometimes long but it was nice having a shorter cardio day(s).
5) Maybe I should have given Cardio Flow more of a chance to grow on me. My results might have been better.
6) I think my body responds better to heavy weights. I felt "firmer" and "smaller" after phases 1 and 2. I had been doing a lot of metabolic workouts like phase 3 prior to 80DO.
7) The "D" word really is 90% of the success of any program. When I do this program again, I'll try to follow the eating plan instead of "winging" it like I did this round. I didn't really lose any weight but my clothes fit better and I feel better too so that's a win!

I was also a regular poster in last year's 80DO thread. I love this program. It completely reshaped my lower body!

Great results, Kathy! It proves yet again that you shouldn't judge the number on the scale. Your inch loss is impressive!

Kathy, thanks for posting your results. I've tried to read that long thread, but it seems to have been hijacked by talk of LIIFT4.

We did LIIFT4 too after we finished 80DO. That’s another great program but after 80DO it felt a little light on lower body. It was amazing for upper body though.
