I haven't read it yet- my daughter sent it to me. Looks like coffee with a decent bit of workout procrastination to me!

YES!!! I have heard that a lot of scientific 'knowledge' in medicine, psychology, and physiology should be regarded with a some skepticism as most of the studies are done in/on countries/people that are: Western Educated Industrialised Rich Democratic WEIRD. It is a known bias, as they don't represent the vast majority of the global population - satisfying the WEIRD criteria makes them outliers. Aaannnd, mostly on males under 25 - which narrows the field even more - and then there's the colour issue too - there are strong differences in populations there as well. That has bothered me ever since I first heard of it - well over a decade ago.
