That's heartbreaking. I'm not a huge fan of country music, but I loved Loretta. She overcame so much in her life.

So sad. I sort of felt like Loretta and Willie were just gonna live forever. I loved Loretta's strength and spunk (plus her music, of course).

I was just watching Coal Miner's Daughter on Saturday night. Loretta was a favorite of my Mom's. Her music got a lot of playing time in our house while I was growing up.

my DH and I were talking about her passing and she was such a legend, and will continue to be one.

I loved her in Murder, She Wrote when I was younger watching reruns on tv with my mom.

Just saw her in the 1958 film The Long, Hot Summer with Joanne Woodward, Paul Newman and Orson Welles. (Taking a Joanne Woodward film class webinar thing.)

Unfortunately I think Lansbury was a bit miscast The Long, Hot Summer, but, then again, Orson Welles wasn't exactly at the top of his game in that film either (was chewing up the scenery a bit IMO).
