Ideas and suggestions please.

I need to commit to only using light weights in my workouts, due joint issues. I love the feel I get with barre method weight routines for upper body. What I would love is a list of light weight workouts that are a little more aerobic. I know all about FIRM workouts, so don't need to list those. Suggestions that have a "4-limb" aerobic feel.

TIA ~

Ellen's Crunch Burn & Firm is 4-limb aerobic and there's a modifier using no weights.

YBB basic and sculpt both use the light weight/high rep 4-limb approach. Leslie watp with the balls uses light sculpting balls-I made my own, light weights can be subbed. Crunch Boot camp always had a slight aerobic feel to me. I feel like I'm forgetting a big one.

all i do is take my light dumbbells and use it with whatever workout, and voila, you have a 4-limb workout w/light weights.

not sure what you consider light, but if it's aerobic where you're moving quickly, i don't go higher than 5#. i have weights from 1 to 5# for this purpose, including DBs and weighted gloves.

if it's pilates, ballet or barre work, i don't go higher than 3#.

Slim Series

KV's Great Weighted Workout

Cathe's Supercuts and FlexTrain (I feel the first is more lower body work and the FlexTrain has more upper body work. Can do both with 3 or 5 lbs and get a definite aerobic feel)

Wearing 1 lb gloves for kickboxing
