Yoga helps 85 year old's scoliosis

This article made me want to stand up and cheer. Perhaps the results were not typical, but this woman's quality of life vastly improved due to yoga (and the fact that she had a teacher who was intimately familiar with the condition). |
That was a great article! Thanks for sharing.

Gosh, I wish I could work with this teacher. Or that she'd write a book or produce a video. That is miraculous! I do yoga almost every day and it just gives me temporary relief.

I saw that article the other day and thought how amazing the transformation was for this woman. Really great!
I, too, haven't found the magic bullet for my own scoliosis issues, but I am feeling much, much better these days. It's a day to day thing for me. And movement, esp.the more gentle, stretchy helps tremendously. |
Oh my gosh - what an amazing story !! Did you see this part: "By her fourth month, Pesce could do a modified headstand, with her back against the wall and her feet parallel to her head in an inverted V-shape." Wow! She looks great.

What an amazing transformation!!
Thanks for sharing this story. Donna |
I poked around in the article and found a link to Rachel Jesien's website. I sent her a message to inquire if she can help a person remotely, via phone consultation, paper workouts, video streaming, etc.
I bet her website was flooded. Will report back if I learn anything. |
