Loving how Slim Series is toning me up, but I'm losing my butt! How can I
make sure I don't. I've never been well endowed, but I guess Slim Series really does tone everything up because my butt is losing some roundness.
Those that love this series, how do maintain or help to build out the butt. Thank you, Kelly |
go to the tag search and type in:
spongebob butt the threads tagged there address the problem in relation to The Firm, but i'm sure any advice there might be of interest. |
Do you have BBL? I had great booty lifting & shaping results from just doing a summer of BumBum 2-3 times a week. (And I have no butt to begin with. Two years later, I'm starting to lose some definition b/c of running, so I think I'm going to have to add it back in here for my next rotation.)

I don't have much in the butt department either, but I used to actually get a few compliments on my butt when I was doing SS several years back. I thought it was all the squats and lunges and floorwork.

I think you need to add in some heavier deadlifts/swings/hip thrusts (you get the idea) maybe every other day or so?

I just commented in the other thread, and now I see you have already started a new thread!
I wonder if Lotte Berk's High Round Assets would help? (I have that). But that stuff seems awfully similar to Debbie's stuff (her floorwork anyway). I also have KCM's 30-min Weights, and have been thinking about doing a couple lower body mixes. I have CLX, too, but none of the workouts are lower body specific. (I don't remember that doing a lot for my butt anyway) Off to look up "spongebob butt"............. |
Have you ever done any kickboxing/Tae Bo stuff? I haven't done any in a while but I recall that it gave me a nice round booty. Also, the tall step in the old Firms was a good glute shaper, I don't know if there are any newer workouts that use a tall step. You can also do step-ups on a chair or something.
When my butt is sagging, I always go to Callanetics. If high and round is what you are after, Callanetics is awesome. It lifts everything. |
