Y'all...rebounding is really hard, lol!
A decade ago, I had a Jumpsport and used it (mostly) for my Walk It Out sessions. Now I have one again, plus a wealth of YouTube rebounding videos to follow along with! Joy!
The problem? It's so hard, lol! (Not as in firm, but as in difficult.) I've been consistently exercising for a while, though not as much cardio lately. Mostly strength, Pilates, yoga. But WHEWWWW! After about a week, I can now get through this 5 minute WARM-UP, haha. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wOZD5q...J-3u01&index=1 Maybe next week I'll be able to start on some actual workouts. :D (In all serious, I'm easing myself in on purpose, because of my foot issues...but I've been very surprised at the burn in my calves and how winded I feel!) |
Also, share your favorite YouTube (or other) rebounding workouts!

Alison, I've done a couple SanFran Fitness YouTube workouts that I enjoyed. I'm hoping to get back to rebounding next month!

I never clicked with the pounding into the surface type rebounder workouts and prefer adapting walking and dance workout while staying close to the mat.
Here is a video of some moves I did on a JS370 PRO though I much prefer larger and looser mats. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sS7z_Dg7_J4 I liked this one on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gm2rRdHo53k also liked these on Well Shaped TV https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zSwo...vuxtlXIE3c_P3G |
I love rebounding and do it several times per week.
Angie FitnessTV is a really good place to start and should keep you busy for a while! She has a nice Facebook rebounding group, if you use Facebook. Naomi Joy Fitness is more advanced but has a good variety of rebounder workouts, many of which incorporate resistance training. This is a nice beginner-ish workouts with Fayth Caruso. She is mostly on Bellicon video platforms but does have some youtube workouts as well. |

I was also surprised to discover that rebounding at length is hard LOL! I did find that my endurance built up quickly if you do it consistently.
My absolute favorites are Fitprime G-Force with Tracie Long and Simone de la Rue's Body by Simone Trampoline Cardio DVDs. Linda of Barlates has a lot of rebounding content to choose from (some of which is free on youtube) that mixes rebound cardio with tough toning. I enjoy these but I don't LOVE them like I love the two I mentioned above that are closely synched to music. |
Yes! I got a cheap mini tramp when I had plantar fasciitis to do some low-impact jogging, but when I tried an actual rebounding workout it was shockingly difficult. I quickly went back to just jogging :D

Thanks for all the replies and great suggestions!
I'm up to 10 minutes of very basic bouncing (some small variations and arm movements). And I'm following that with a very THOROUGH calf stretch! :p |
I don't do any rebounding workouts, I just have several upbeat music playlists that I rotate and do my own thing for 20-30 minutes on my Bellicon (jumping jacks, jogging, side-to-side, etc.) I follow up with 20-30 minutes of Pilates matwork or foam rolling.
