Amy Dixon's "Give Me 10 More" and "Breathless Body" coming out in a few weeks

Amy Dixon tweeted that she has two new workout DVDs coming out mid-April. The titles are "Give Me 10 More" & "Breathless Body". These are the workouts she filmed on Feb 4th.

She also filmed at least one Reebok workout in Denver on March 7th. Waiting for news about that one...

Isn't a breathless body DEAD?

Shouldn't it be something like "breathtaking" body? Breathless body is a very strange title!

I'm thinking it's an interval or HIIT-type workout where she wants you to go for anaerobic peaks, hence the "breathless" (you can't catch your breath)...

Yikes - I would think so! :D

In one of her dvds, she talks about "going breathless" during a cardio interval.

I really like Amy - will look into these.

Ok gotcha... still a strange title for a workout video.

"Breathless Intervals" would have been a better title, IMO. Or just "Breathless" which alludes to the movie or song.

It's funny how simple combinations of words can bring up totally different images. A workout called "Killer Body" would make me think of a murder scene. Maybe we have too many crime books lying around the house. :)

I don't have anything much against the "Breathless Body" except that I think it's poor choice of words conjure up a negative image of a lifeless body in my mind, which means I'm probably not going to buy the video no matter how good it may be. It is unfortunate that some makers of fitness vids don't give more thought to what they name a workout. They've got instant feedback now where they can field test things and still they don't seem to tap into that resource. Wasn't it GAP or Old Navy that had instant feed back about their logo and decided to stick with the original logo? The title of a workout (well, to be fair, among other things) has deterred me from buying the workout on several occasions. I think workouts should inspire you to workout not play on your insecurities and make you self-conscious. (Yeah I'm talking to you FIRM Jiggle Free's, Shape Bikini titles, Dance Your A$$ Off, Bum-Bum workouts and a whole slew of other derogatory/condescending references to our anatomy.)
