RehabZone - Core/Back vs Knee/Hip

For those who have tried both of these programs - how much overlap is there? I'm considering doing both.

Also, if anyone has tried RehabZone Knee/Hip and Chantal Donnelly's Strong Knees - which one was more effective?

Hmmm. I’ve done both but it’s been a while. The two do have a different feel and I think the exercises are different enough not to be felt redundant. I ended up getting rid of the knee pain dvd — I just didn’t like it as well and it didn’t flow as well for me. I do like the back pain system — I’ve used that a lot (and posted about it often). Every workout it it (3 phases with 3? 4? workouts each) follows a pattern: warmup, core/back moves including some upper and lower body moves, stretch.

I can’t really put my finger on my dislike of the knee pain dvd. It has the same instructor but a different model. Maybe the cueing wasn’t as good, I don’t really recall.

I used to have breakdowns of all the workouts, but I guess I chunked them during my last cleaning frenzy.

Here’s a previous thread with some breakdowns/reviews:

Thanks. It was actually because of your review that I bought these. I figure that if there's not a lot of overlap, I'd like to do both systems. That way I won't be neglecting my back while I'm working on my recently injured knee.

If I end up not liking the knee/hip one, I'll switch over to Strong Knees.

I hope you like them! They are very bare bones, but they were no-dread for me (in a time when every workout seemed dread-inducing). I should pull them out myself - I’ve been struggling with some back pain lately.
