Asics Women's Met-Conviction

I've been wearing an old pair of sneakers that happens to feel great while working out (lightweight, very flexible sole, enough cushion and fit like a glove), but they're in need of replacement very soon, I thought any old sneaker would do it... Wrong! I've another old pair, that I used to wear outdoors (not for sport activities) with jeans and t-shirts and they were great and comfortable, but as they're just not as cute now (the sole look kind of yellow instead of white), I thought it'd be a nice replacement, so I tried them out the other day and my feet are still sore, they're not for Zumba definitely, I couldn't turn smoothly on them, and then when I did my kbkb workout, they felt bulky and heavy, I had to take them off before I was done with my workout, for what I've read they're actually running shoes (hard sole, deep treads), I also thought they had too much cushion.

Any help would be kindly appreciated! TIA

Bumping, as I'd like a good cross-trainer recommendation.

What are you wearing now? I haven't tried these, but from the description, they're a very low-drop shoe. If you're wearing traditional cross trainers, they'll feel quite different to you and your feet may not like them. Again from the description, they will probably be flexible, but might not have the cushion you're looking for.

One option--you could order them from Zappos, and ship them back for free if you don't like them.
