I know there was a thread about how to download videos from YouTube but I cannot find it. Can anyone provide the link to that discussion?

Many of the sites I've tried are no longer active. Can anyone suggest a (free, easy to use) program they currently use to download YT videos?

I use 4k Video Downloader. I can download 30 videos a day for free.

https://en.savefrom.net/387/ still works, you only need to copy the url of the video you want to download, no need to install it, and it also works for dailymotion and vimeo as well.
