Sigg Water Botttles

I was just reading about Sigg Water bottles and how their olds liner had BPA in them. I know there are people here who use Sigg so I thought enquiring minds would want to know

Thanks for this post. It looks like I have two for trade in. I hope they give us designs we like back. Shame on Sigg. These weren't sold so long ago that they didn't know better. I know they advertised that they were safe when we bought those. DH had asked me why his latest one had a different interior just the other day.

this actually really ticks me off. Those bottles are EXPENSIVE! Paying for shipping the old ones back is a PITA to say the least.

My original one is from 2005, think that's when I ordered it. Anyway, I don't mind paying shipping for a new bottle, they're so light it's not going to cost much, at least not as much as a new bottle would cost. And seriously, the bottles are expensive but I bet it's been paid for a hundred times over in use, so whatever, it's an expense that's worth it.

I don't think I'll ship mine back, because it's such a pain to find a box that'll fit, and then the lines at my P.O. are always horrible. Plus, the new liners may be bad for you too, so...........

I did buy a cheap ($3.00) aluminum water bottle at Walmart not long ago, that's bigger than my Sigg, so guess I'll use it instead.

I read about the Sigg lining when I was getting ready to purchase a stainless steel water bottle. It's one of the main reasons I chose a Klean Kanteen instead. my Klean Kanteen!

I have the old model too; that stinks that we have to pay for shipping. The bottles were expensive enough to begin with!

Oh crap. I just bought a Sigg. It's brand new. Does that mean it has the good kind of interior, or the bad? I bought it from a shop in Yorkshire--I can't take it back!

we have ELEVEN sigg bottles! that's all we use even at home! i can't remember the last time i drank water at home or at work, from anything but a sigg!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

you send your bottles back (after getting an RMA from sigg) and then they send you a code to re-buy w/free shipping bottles from their online store...

so as far as then sending cute designs... you chose which ones you want....
