I bought a vitamix a couple of months ago and wasn't sure about it at first--I was using mostly frozen fruit and although there weren't any big chucks, it immediately turned into sorbet and wouldn't blend to a really smooth texture because the majority of it stopped hitting the blade. Now I'm using more liquid and more fresh fruit along with the frozen fruit, and I l.o.v.e it. My kick this week was spinach with frozen mango, fresh pineapple, a fresh clementine, a sliver of raw ginger, and some coconut cream (for extra fiber and fat, so it could be subbed for a light meal and still be filling). Super yum!

Thanks.
Does anyone have the one I linked to, and is this a similarly good deal?

I have the one that was on special but I believe the one in your link the same base machine with a larger container (64 vs 48oz). Its not a bad price. I think the QVC price listed is probably pretty accurate for a Retail Price but the Retail value is high. So $414 vs the $456 is pretty good. It will probably be a year before QVC has another TSV on this but you never know.

Do you have a Costco membership? They're selling Vitamixes at my local ones this month.
