Hi all. My workout yesterday was a walk with DH + LIS Cardio Supersets + bonus step segment.

T2B - The reviews for Civil War are quite good but I don't think I would be able to handle it. My main workout is usually in the afternoon, but I usually do some kind of walking workouts in the morning too.

Gibbee - How fun that you got to see the total eclipse. We didn't have any glasses so didn't really watch it. Just saw it get dark briefly. It was pretty cloudy where we were too so I think it affected how much we could see.

Karjoy - Your swim sounds lovely. It's nice to have an outdoor pool in warm weather.

Hi to Vannie and Cher. Have a great evening, everyone.

Hi all,

Today, CIZE: HYO + STS 2.0: Giant Sets Total Body. P.M. Yv2: MYB

I saw Civil War this afternoon. Thought provoking, unsettling, disturbing, intense, lots of what ifs scenarios to ponder.

Gibbee - glad you got to experience a total eclipse. I assume you will be taking your other trip soon.

Waves to JB & karjoy, Vannie & Cher.

Hi Gibbee!! Thanks for sharing the eclipse experience. Incredible.

Quick checkin: Rested today and yesterday did about a 30 minute open water swim with the local tri club. Several of us want to do a Sprint Tri 4th of July. This is about an hour away and so much fun. We like it because the sprint distance is short and we don’t have to train too hard.

Night all.

30 minute pool swim today. I decided that I will do that sprint to on July 4th so I will regularly add in a bit of swimming. Vannie I feel for you being interested in many forms of exercise.

I messaged Cher a couple days ago and she said to tell you all hello. She is still working on clearing out her sister’s house and I believe she said that they may transfer the house to Joseph in the next couple months. They are going to Disney end of this month for their yearly trip. Unfortunately Joseph has tried at least several meds for his ulcerative colitis but none have worked as long as hoped. Please send your healing thoughts and/or prayers. I told Cher to visit anytime.

The first wknd of April we went to my FIL's so I was a slug as I usually am when we're there. Last wknd I met some friends from college a couple hours away. We shopped the outlets and then went to the Airbnb we rented that was just a few miles away. We laughed and talked and ate and watched Prince's movies. We hadn't all gotten together in at least a couple years so it was really fun to hang out and catch up. I got home Sunday just in time for the Twins game. I was going to run but hubby was at a Ren Fest and Cyric was just so darn excited to see me that I couldn't bear to disappoint him by running out the door.

Monday ended up with no workouts either bc I had a migraine. I did still meet friends for lunch and we did two walks but I took a nap before I had to start supper and felt better after that. Today I had to get groceries and made it home shortly after the game started. I have gotten up at 7 the last two mornings (go me!) and I am just tired. I haven't managed to make it to bed much earlier yet. It poured and was super windy most of yesterday and Cyric did not want to walk in that! It's still cloudy and windy today and while I love cloudy, it's not helping my sleepiness! I'm gonna have to make myself get up as soon as the game is over or I'm likely to fall asleep.

I bought some new gadgets that I'm excited about. One is a squat wedge, and it really made yesterday's lower body weight workout and PT more effective, I think. I really like it! I also got a foot strengthening board that I'm hoping will be helpful in my foot routine, which I've been neglecting and need to restart. That was actually part of a kit that also came with resistance loops, and small foam roller and massage ball. The roller and ball were a little disappointing but I haven't actually used them yet so I'll reserve judgment. The roller is probably roughly the diameter of a soup can and a little longer.

I signed up for a 5k trail race that's on May 4th. It's the same one I did last year. Our wknds are so crazy from basically now till mid-October that it may be the only race I get to do.

Hi guys. I am off for a 4 day weekend and I’m excited. Today I went for a swim after work and yesterday a group of walked 3 miles after work. There were also 3 people who ran the 3 miles. I am glad I was in the walking group because it is now officially hot. I think it was 86 degrees. Not used to that yet.

Thanks for that great checkin Vannie. A 5 K trail race sounds like fun. We are doing one that same weekend, also a trail run, to benefit our local animal shelter. Sounds like a really good time with friends, shopping and watching Prince movies. I have started wearing a pedometer too and really need to up my steps on work days. Off days are much better.

T2B are you doing Cathe’s April rotation? On Cathe rotations does she ever put in a different activity like a run or walk? I don’t think I could do many Cathe workouts in a row.

Waves!
