Pat58, that's GREAT news about your bone density results!

I wonder if all those box steps you've been doing helped?? (I know they wouldn't make a difference that quickly, but that move seems like one that would build bone.)

Hi, ladies. I'm feeling so much better physically, but wow am I discouraged. Our Principal proposed the retirement of our mascot, which is the Indians. The School Board voted positively on it. A few days later, the Board voted to leave us the the hybrid model for school (two days in person, 3 days online). Since those two things have happened, our community has exploded into ugliness - name calling, ridiculous editorials in the paper and posts online, attacking teachers, you name it. I am just so sad at how terribly people are willing to treat others when they don't get their way. It just makes me want to crawl into a hole.
Thanks for all the happy it's not covid wishes - I am so relieved!

Pat - Great news. I wonder how much of your walking helped, too! Awesome!

Chrys - that’s unfortunate but don’t let it get you too down. What can you do? Just continue to be awesome and support your students and teachers!

AnMrsDe - Cathe states that the music is great in this series. I liked the music in the HiiT workout but it remains to be heard as far as the others. We don’t always agree on what makes great music.

Dorothy - I like Keoni, love his smile. I will have to try the 5000 step workout later today. Why did you put Fitbit on your sock? I only have to do that when I use my stationary bike so curious?

Pat, congrats on the improved Dexa Scan - that is so not easy to accomplish! High box steps, walking, strength training, & yoga (all the above) attributed to that, I'm sure! So keep getting motivated by your FitBit & those Fat Burning numbers during your workouts!!

Chrys, I think everyone is on edge these days, and your school participants are letting loose. I love T2B's response to you and I +1 that!!!

Well, what would have been "perfect" is if Cathe could've used Katy Perry's "Perfect" remix during this set....but alas, it already has its' home in X-10! Or I'd even settle for One Direction's "Perfect" remix!! But I'm sure that won't happen!

ETA: the Lower Body clip looks great and I LOVE the outfits in that one! A mix of heavy and lighter weights.... love it!

AnMrsDe - I love the 2nd clip too. I love the colors. I like the colors in the other clip, too, except that I don’t like Brenda’s pants. I don’t like the placement of those blue panels. I expect I’ll be working too hard to notice when doing the workout. Love seeing Brenda though.

Chrys, glad you're feeling better! Sorry that you're experiencing that ugliness so close to home. That's gotta be hard. As T2B said, just keep being your awesome self.

T2B, Like you, I generally only clip to my sock for the stationary bike. But I thought I'd experiment to see if it gave me a more accurate step count against what Keoni counts. I think it helped because my step count came out closer to what he claims than on other walks when I've kept my Fitbit in my pocket.

Great news Pat!

AnMrsDe, if you read my workouts already, you saw that I did get IDTV. I would really like to try that Flexibility & Beyond program. I really need to do more Yin Yoga but I don’t know if I will be able to do a whole program of that.

Cher, Just plan on doing 2-3 IDT classes a month, then it won't seem so overwhelming and daunting that you include it in your workout times. Once you get that practice (haha) down, then you'll WANT to do more! And you don't need to stick to any 30 or 60 Day rotation....just do certain classes that are appealing from the series and that's just fine! Presently I can't do any program with JUST yoga either...I would go nuts missing my cardio/weights!

Hope you find some classes you love! Now that I scope out the site more, there is a lot more added material than I thought. All the classes in the Programs are kind of hidden!

Did you preorder Cathe's Perfect 30 workouts? Her mobility workout looks great, too!!
