Cyana, I’m sorry your practice was interrupted, but it sounds like it was for a good cause.

Pam, is your home near the ocean, the Pacific Coast maybe? I do remember that you live in Canada.

Pat, GOOD LUCK! I hope all goes well.

Sherry, I assume World Heat is a series of yoga practices.

Thanks, Jackie. ETV with a compression sleeve helps keep the patella aligned. I do a lot of walking, and I notice I am walking differently if that makes sense.

I actually had a bit more pain yesterday, but it seems to me ligaments and fascia are trying to restore themselves and realign as my walking stride and positioning shift. So I am not viewing this mild pain as a bad thing.

I notice your instructor level is 4. What is the highest level?

Have a good week everyone!

T- World Heat/Soul Sweat are dance classes that were on a now defunct streaming/download site called powhow. They were filmed at the studio Chantal Pierrat from the Soul Sweat dvd used to own/teach. Luckily I downloaded all the classes before the site was shut down without warning. They used music by the original artists, and are my favorite cardio. They had a bunch of teachers with their own style. The teacher Sara Jane is like an R rated Christi Taylor. She is very graceful, sings along, and curses like a truck driver.

I am migraine free today, yay, had a very good sleep last night.

We have our eldest granddaughter with us until Saturday. She is a treat to have around. I’m sure she will keep us busy, lol.

Today’s workouts:
~taught Essentrics on zoom
~neighbourhood walk and beach time with DH & our granddaughter
~maybe some yin later after we tuck her in

Pat - I hope all went well at the doctor today!

T - I hope your knee starts feeling better!
Yes I live on the west coast, Vancouver Island, just across the Strait of Georgia (aka the Salish Sea) from Vancouver. We are a block up from the water.

Jackie - I’m thinking of doing some outdoor classes on my deck since we are a small group.

Nice dance workouts Sherry, I had to chuckle about your “R rated Christi Taylor“ instructor.

Waves to all!

Last night I did Yoga Upload Evening practice.

This morning I did Soul Sweat with Maria "Make it Your Own".

I will try to check back later. I am sorry for the lack of personals. I will do yoga later.

Pat, I am so glad your procedure went well-hugs!

Just what I need to see!
Busy days girls and I hate to say it but I've even been missing some of my longer Yoga sessions!! I got in a few short practices last week but missed some days. However I am still meditating every day. Got to for my own sanity!

Hope you all are well. I just wanted to jump in and say hi!

Popping in....nothing new to report. Although, if you follow me on FB you should check out the lawn furniture ds3 has been building!

T I finished the Essentrics instructor program....4 levels. I am still learning though. Contemplating some other training and really hoping Essentrics follows through with doing some webinars this summer...which I know Pam would like as well.

Sherry I laughed at the R rated instructor...LOL....she wouldn't be a match for me! Kids here....

Pam I wish I could get excited about outdoor classes. So buggy here. I may give it a go, though.

Kate....I understand busy. Hope you squeeze in some time for yoga.

Pat so glad things went well.

Hi to Margot if she drops in.

Today’s workouts:
~neighbourhood walk
~ETV: Meg’s 30 min live workout
~Ellen’s new Kick Butt workout

Hi Kate, so nice to hear from you!

Jackie - We don’t have a lot of bugs here so doing Essentrics outside is a possibility. I’m going to see how the weather is next week and see who’s interested. I saw the pics of DS3’s outdoor furniture, it looks pro, he’s very talented!

Waves to all!

Hi gang. Still hard to type. Monumental effort catching up at work yesterday with my finger wrapped up like a Tootsie Pop! I vow to start walking again, mostly been resting when not at work. It's HOT!

Thanks, for the explanation about those workouts, Sherry. I’m glad you are enjoying them (and had the forethought to download them when you did!).

Pam, I looked up Vancouver Island to get a better feel the location. Wow, it is just beautiful. Your comments about swimming in the cold water make sense to me. The middle of last week we had just returned from a road trip out to Pacific. It was beautiful but relatively cold. The temps were in the high 50s/low 60s while back in the Chicago area we were in the 80s and 90s. I enjoyed walking on the beaches but I did not venture into the water, and I LOVE swimming in the ocean.By the way, isn't Eoin Finn from that area?

So glad all went well, Pat! I hope typing gets easier for you very soon.

Well, Jackie, I am thoroughly impressed. What an achievement to reach the highest level of training. Good for you. No wonder you really know your stuff!

Take care everyone! We need a new emoji with a mask.
