I put 15 lbs weights on the end of my cardio barre and you can complete a pull up but it was still a bit wobbly, you could get it done but I did not like it that way. For those that have a wall mount is there enough room from the wall for you to be able to do a pullup? And I am sure I could probably use my treadmill handle for 95 percent of the exercises as well.

Laura, Sherry, thank you for your replies and the advice.

I know (don't even have to ask) what DH will say if I request a wall-mounted barre I think Santa's head elf is looking at building a barre for me, but I always like to get as much use out of each toy...as in my step doubling as a bench.
