Hi Penny! If you like the Gentle Yoga Fix, Dean has a YouTube channel with LOTS of practices (man flow yoga). I like his presentation style -- very calm and matter of fact.

My knee hasn't been the same ever since my ACL surgery (5ish years ago) so I tend to avoid barre -- many of the moves just don't feel good to me.

I did this old Susan Powter strength workout again yesterday.

Susan Powter Building Strength

The calm, controlled pace and great cuing made it such an enjoyable workout! The slower pace means one can lift heavier weights more safely. Or, you can use no weights and use dynamic tension.

I'm glad you posted about this one. I did it last week and really enjoyed it. It felt comfortable -- everyone I knew in my childhood had those exact kitchen chairs! (Also, I hadn't done weighted chest work in ages before this, and I really felt it the next day!)
