I turn almost any cardio workout into just walking by taking out all the impact and just marching. I love KCM and her music especially but I can't do her impact anymore, so I just march and do some of the arm movements. Same with anyone else. If I like their music and I used to enjoy the workout, I just modify everything in it to what I can actually do now and want to do just for the sake of movement in my day.

Also, I never do the boosts/jogging etc. with Leslie but I really like the mount of steps in her workouts, and she makes it *so* easy to skip the boosts/jogging. Of all my walking workouts, hers have the highest step counts for me and I find I can really zone out. Any Leslie workout can be easily modified to whatever you want it to be.

I like Jessica's walking stuff, but sometimes the movements are a bit awkward if I don't walk to have to think about it. Her outside 21 Day Walk Off series (not sure if I have that name right?) is great for dreary days since it's outside in the Florida sunshine!

I like Pahla B's youtube walking workouts, but sometimes I need more movement through the day. I really like her as a person though, and I really enjoy her mindset about being perimenopausal/menopausal. I find myself listening to her Q and A's through the day.

Jessica Smith’s Walk and Talks are very easy. You can zone out with them. You’d have to play more than one for a longer workout, but they play one after the other in the playlist.

Thank you again, everyone!!! I have several Jessica Smith Dvds and I do like her style. However, I started doing the Firm classics again and just need something easy the next day because they take so much out of me! Jessica likes to constantly switch up her moves and sometimes I just want to zone out! Not super crazy about Leslie because I just like more periods of silence while exercising ("maybe it's me) and after awhile the "walk, walk walk, walk" just gets to me. But, I appreciate everything she has done in the fitness world and I have a lot of respect for her. I'm willing to try her again if there are no other options.

A lot of Leslie's DVDs have a Music-Only option. I find her banter amusing but my tween daughter (who prefers Leslie's walks to Jessica's) doesn't care for her "walk, walk, walk" comments either.

I forgot to include that I also do the music only option on a lot of her stuff, sometimes I just want to zone out. But sometimes I really like her chatter oddly enough.

You could do Jenny Ford’s Walk Across America walks and see if you could eventually do them all. You’d have nice scenery to look at and the choreography couldn’t be easier. They are all about a half hour.

Paul Eugene on You Tube has walking and other low impact workouts. He has a cheerful personality, and unlike some of the You Tube instructors, he has music.
