Thank you, Laura...fun!

1. What was the biggest lesson you learned in 2020? Still learning - how to cope w/stress by NOT turning to food/drink

2. What or whom are you most grateful for right now? So grateful for the kind, generous people I meet at work who are in horrendous situations but manage to be a pleasure to work with/for

3. How would you describe your fitness life in 2020?pretty much non-existence but for a sporadic bout here and there

4. What are your top three priorities in 2021? lose the weight I gained, keep up w/my supplements for health and always remember to be kind

5. What is one change you want to make?
Up my hope levels

Maybe I should add...finally learn how to use VF editing for my posts!

1. What was the biggest lesson you learned in 2020?

Not to be afraid of the unknown so much. I was terrified of getting the COVID19 virus that China deliberately unleashed upon us. I did catch it and had extremely mild symptoms. I’ve learned not to let fear get control of my life.

2. What or whom are you most grateful for right now?

People that provided guidance on taking supplements that are effective against the virus. I think taking quercetin, zinc and drinking green tea kept me from having more severe COVID19 symptoms. In my research, I also learned that most people are deficient in boron, magnesium, D3 & K2 and that many health issues can be cured or prevented by taking these supplements. A strong immune system is a great defense against illness.

3. How would you describe your fitness life in 2020?

A work in progress, lol. I set a goal to do a roll-up and a roll-over. Still haven’t been able to complete either, but I haven’t given it a 100% effort either. I think my stomach is too big :-)

4. What are your top three priorities in 2021?

I am going to learn more about nutritional defenses and the immune system. I am planting a small home orchard/food forest in my backyard to incorporate more organic fresh fruit, veggies and nuts. So far I’ve planted pear, fig, peach, plum, an American Persimmon, orange, satsuma, pecan and walnut trees. I’m going to get a Pawpaw tree today. I also want to get blueberry bushes and plant veggies when it’s warmer.

5. What is one change you want to make?

To not dwell on the sadness of life. I have no control over bad things that happen and being unhappy about them isn’t going to make any difference in the world or my life better.

I like these threads

1. What was the biggest lesson you learned in 2020?
Gratitude.

2. What or whom are you most grateful for right now?
I am very grateful that Big Bubble and I still have jobs. I've watched some of my neighbors and friends get downsized or shutter their businesses due to Covid. I am grateful my office has allowed us to telework. I am grateful that none of my immediate family has caught Covid. I'm so sorry for VFers that have caught it or have been negatively affected by the pandemic.

3. How would you describe your fitness life in 2020?
I was still consistent with my workouts. But I have been eating more sweets, so I've gained weight. It actually doesn't look too bad on me, so I won't complain. However, I have to get my sweet eating under control

4. What are your top three priorities in 2021?
  • Finding more gentle ways to exercise that will still give me the strength and aesthetic results I'm looking for.
  • Patience! I find myself getting easily annoyed at work or just in general. I either need to start journaling or meditate or do more yoga or something! Maybe all three lol! But I don't like feeling this way.
  • Eating better for me. Less sugar, more veggies, less meat.

5. What is one change you want to make?
Downsize my dvd collection. Even though there are some dvds I still want, I have to be honest with myself and what I am going to do. I have too many dvds

This answer cracked me up, and then I thought that it sounded about right.
