2017 in memory

just found out Louise Hay passed away! so sad.

enjoyed her audios and books.

some of her greatest quotes:
http://www.collective-evolution.com/...er-her-legacy/

i've always liked this one:
Quote:
You have the power to heal your life, and you need to know that. We think so often that we are helpless, but we’re not. We always have the power of our minds…Claim and consciously use your power.

So sad. Beautiful woman. Appreciated her books....helped me thru some difficult times. I saw her on Oprah years ago such a beautiful elegant woman.

I'm sad. She was a special lady and her book - "You Can Heal Your Life" helped me more than I can ever describe in words.
thanks for letting me know,
Liz

yes. that book is either a fast read (where you can immediately use what she says) or a slow read (where you contemplate and reflect). she passed away in her sleep, I think that's what I read.

Sad to hear. But bittersweet, because I also remember how much love she shared with the world, and what an inspiration she is.

Thank you for letting us know.

i have never read any of her books - had planned to, but wasn't sure which one to start with.

Rose Marie of the Dick Van Dyke Show died. She was also a regular on Hollywood Squares. Started acting and singing when she was a toddler and lived to 94.

Jeannine, Sue Grafton is easy to figure order. Her third published book was A Is for Alibi and they follow the alphabet from there. Except there will be no Z. I don't know that her first two books are even available now days. I remember when I was taking a mystery writing class that everyone was surprised that A wasn't her first book and that was back when C Is for Corpse had just come out. C was as far as I got.
