What are your go to beginner workouts?

Ok I'm at the point again where I am looking for some beginner workouts. What are your favorites that you pull out again and again? Looking for both cardio and strength workouts. Thanks!

I like Liquid Grooves and Cardio for Beginners by Petra Kolber.

And, Tracie Long makes a senior workout that could be used for a beginner one, Platinum something or another.

Start Here by Kelly Coffey Meyers is good - it has both cardio and strength.

Good luck finding something that works for you.

More challenging but still doable: Jillian Michaels' Beginner Shred.

Cathe's Basic Step and Body Fusion
Firm BSS1

Both have separate cardio and strength with isolated muscle work, not too long, not complicated. Still go back to Basic Step and just increase the step height.

Kelly Coffey Meyer's Your Best Body is listed as intermediate, and it is important to go light (there are lots of reps) but somehow this feels very adaptable to me. Doesn't have the dread factor that some workouts might.

I'd think that if you had to you could do this as a body weight exercise, (i.e., without hand weights, just follow the moves).

PowerFit Harmony, I tried them with dumbbells and I liked them even better.

I consider myself a restarting beginner and today I did Jessica Smith's "Strength Interval Walk" routine from her Major Metabolism Booster DVD (part of her Walk the Weight Off 30 Day Plan set). It was really good and I used 3lb weights for upper body and 5lbs for lower. I think Jessica's DVDs are good for beginners and up. The moves are easy and also easy to modify if needed.
