How to download youtube videos into PC?

Hello.... there are a ton of free software if I search for this... but I am not sure which ones are reliable. Does anyone use a free software to download youtube videos into the PC?

Are you a Mac or a PC?

I use Freemake. It's free, downloadable, easy to use and fast. There's a downloader and also a converter, which I use to burn to DVD once I've downloaded to my computer.

http://www.freemake.com/free_video_downloader/

Sorry. That link keeps bringing up an iPhone app ad on top of the Freemake page when I test it. If that happens for you, just Google Freemake Downloader.

Sorry I just reread your original post and saw that you were a PC. I am a Mac. I believe Horsemom had some instructions on what she uses and how to do it.

I don't know what browser you use, but Video Download Helper works great for Firefox and if you search for add-ons in other browsers there are other applications for those. I've used one for Internet Explorer but don't recall the name. They're all pretty easy to use.

I don't burn to dvd but save all my files to a flash drive to use on a laptop.
