The History of VF

WWWendy posted this history of VF a while back. It is so interesting to see how she started the site and how it evolved. Also, VF won various awards over the years.

These screenshots of the old VF are so great to see.

For sure, VF is a website that deserves our continued support. We need to make sure it stays running for a long, long time!

It was funny to read how people went into withdrawal, like addicts, when WWWendy had to close down the site to improve it (in the 90's)! I'm sure it would be even worse now if she had to close it down for more than a few minutes

WWWendy deserves her own personal award for bringing together so many people and creating so many friendships (not to mention helping thousands of people get more fit and more informed about the fitness options for home exercisers).

Yes, lots of memories. Lots of friends. I remember the Friday night chats. We even ventured into voice chat for a while. Fun!

I agree with you 100%. VF does deserve out continuous support. This community is just plain awesome.

I think it would be fun to do the chat again. Technology has changed so much since our old chats, that we could probably do video chats now!
