This is the least enjoyable season so far (for me). I feel like the whole thing has been so unfair for the oldest team. It's just made me feel so bad for them because they have done their very best and it's so much harder for someone in their 60's than it is for someone in their 40's or 20's, to do the physical challenges and to lose weight. The way the blue team did the snow, rain and wind challenge was very impressive. I was sad when the Coach went home. Anna was fantastic this week. I would love to attend a tennis camp with her as an instructor!

I do not miss Jillian at all. I would not miss Bob if he left. I like Dolvett; he seems real.

You're probably right, Jane. I am, in fact, quite the crier in real life! In fact, I'm crying at the thought of going on national TV in a sports bra and bike shorts.

ITA!

I think the age-group division of teams was very unfair, right from the get-go.

As for the woman who cries so much: at the end of the snow/wind/rain challenge, when she started crying after reaching the end, I could empathize. I broke down in tears when I won my first 5k. Totally unexpected (both the win and the crying).

What I don't understand is in previous seasons (at least the ones I watched) when the teams were uneven for challenges other team members would sit out to even things up.

Why not this year?

That is a good point about the amount of players for the challenges. It seems unfair to have one team with three members against other teams with more members.

I just watched this week's episode. I agree that this year has been so unfair for the blue team. I don't get why they did the challenge without making the teams even. The blue team was already at a disadvantage since they are older.

Judging from next week's preview, it looks like they are keeping the teams. There are only two blue team members left. I know that it could be argued that the first two blue team members that left were not hard workers. But the three remaining ones were. But as others have mentioned, it's tougher to lose weight or do challenges when you are in your 60's when you've been sedentary for so long.

What I also find unfair to the blue team is that it is hard for all the contestants early on, but it is going to be especially hard for older contestants who are out of shape. They may initially find it so hard on their bodies that they just cannot push any harder in the first few weeks, which makes it look like they aren't trying their best. Oftentimes, the contestants who could barely do anything the first few weeks, start to pick up their stride once their bodies acclimate to exercising. The seniors need more time to acclimate than the younger people, but didn't get the chance. So, the whole show is completely unfair. I hope Anna doesn't end up having to leave.

When they first announced Anna as a new trainer, I wasn't thrilled, but I really like her. I think she has a good balance of being supportive and challenging.

Both Anna and Dolvett are very telegenic and seem like genuinely nice people.
