The RKS workouts definitely have a cardio effect.

Thanks for all of the great suggestions. I'm getting more and more interested in the RKS set after reading the different posts but wasn't sure if that could work with a lighter kettlebell. With this darn hamstring injury anything heavier than a 12 lb bell kills my hamstring though I think that also depends on the length of the workout too. Another workout I'm interested in and would love feedback on is Cardio Pump Fusion with Brook Benten. My problem is I can't do a lot of moutnain climbers or squat thrusts and I think Bob Harper has a bit of them in his workout--I might be wrong.

Thanks.

Another question for those who have done RKS. I know it's recommended to do these workouts 4x week in sequence. Do any of you pick and choose and not do the workout as recommended? I thnk I would go crazy doing only one workout style -- love variety.

a lot of us did our own thing as well as picking and choosing!

i always (most always) combined 3 RKS workouts (2 workouts plus the swing workout) each time i did them... but i did them every other day rather than 2 days, day between and another 2 days...

if you like (just picking numbers here) workouts 5, 8 and 10 best... then do those most often amongst your other workouts! if you want to do 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, & 16 every other day... do that!

i think these are very conducive to doing your own thing with them!
