My favorite purchases are the bargain ones! Here are a few:
Fanny Lifter--another VFer sent to me for the price of shipping only ($10, I think) weighted gloves--found on Clearance at Walmart for $2 4# med ball--found on clearance in a sports apparel store for $2 stability ball--I think I paid <$20 on ebay to get a high quality Theraband ball; it replaced an old leaky ball (similar to Kathryn's BOSU, so now I use it much more) Gliding disks--I actually bought "Moving Man" disks off eBay, which work just as well (and move furniture, too!), and I think I paid $8 I can't really think of any regrets; I don't do much purchasing, so I pretty much like what I have. I guess the only thing I might've done differently is to have held off on purchasing a $30 adjustable dumbbell set from Walmart in favor of getting something more like the Reebok adjustable ones, which I think go for around $60. Oh, I forgot, one more piece of equipment I love: my eye pillow! I picked up a silky lavendar pillow from Target awhile back (paid around $6), and I love it; it helps me to enjoy savasana so much more.

Great question!
Best 1.the Step - also used the extra risers and small top 2.stability ball 3.Firm barbell - I bought this at least 14 years ago, use it all the time, still in perfect condition! 4.wrist supports 5.Bosu Worst 1.Ab Pavelizer 2.I can't remember the name of this thing, but I sent it back. You hold a pole & slide your feet in & out to supposedly tone the thighs. Very dissapointed.Anyone remember the name? |

Best
1) Club Step - it's been a weight bench, a step, a seat for my bottom as I preview videos. its a bit low sometimes, i need to invest in extra risers 2) Transfirmer - don't use it as a step unless doing a FIRM video (which I rarely do) but I use it for dips and stuff and also as a high step 3) My dumbbells 4) Weight lifting gloves - one of these days I'll try weight gloves 5) Treadmill - ok so it was in the fitness center of the apt I no longer live at, but it was good. I hope to get my own soon Stuff I should use more 1) stability ball - I never use it unless a video tells me to, but I do like it 2) ballet bar - I left it up to encourage me to use it and then it got in the way 3) rebounder And i almost forgot the piece of junk thing I bought freshman year that you put on your abs and it sends little shocks to 'tone' your abs and melt the fat there. I think it zapped away more skin than fat. Things that just sit there 1) magic circle 2) Tubing - not too fond of this stuff
