Just wanted to add: if your fingers are short, those "green things" are not easy to hold onto for a long sequence! I use them now and then but my fingers often feel somewhat cramped afterwards.....

weighted gloves

I personally use weighted gloves that I got to intensify my boxing workouts. They work pretty well for any type of workout where I want to add a little something extra
Hope this helps

My daughter uses what looks like a textured genie

for her fastpitch softball warmups and drills. It weight about two pounds and the texturing really gives you a good grip. You could probably find them on a softball supply website.

That was a great idea because dumbells doesn't work that well as a substitute.

I bought a cheap set at Ross, then I found a set in KMart in a Pilates Ball kit it comes with a band and a suprisingly good workout on DVD. The balls in the kit are a little smaller than the green geenies or other 3lb balls that I have seen. The silver Reebok ball is bigger than the green geenies.

Thumbs up Green Genies

Hi,

Target has Karen's Green Genies in a set which comes with her Streamline Fitness dvd, for $24.99.

It's a pretty good deal. You're getting the dvd and a pair of Green genies as well. Takes a couple of weeks for shipping though. (but I think it was worth it)

I recently started using Streamline Fitness and Core Essentials again, and since I had previously traded my Genies, wanted to replace them as well as the dvds.

Here's the link. I think you can go through Amazon.com as well for this set, but not sure.

Hope this helps,
Michelle
