Jane Fonda "Prime Time: Firm & Burn"
Prime Time: Firm & Burn
I pretty much stay away from any non-walking cardio workouts. Beginners dance videos are usually too frustrating for me because I struggle with the choreography. Anyway, I watched some clips of Jane's workout and I thought the moves looked easy and fun like a Denise Austin type of workout. I tried it today and I it soooo much! It was the most fun I've had exercising in a really long time. I have a new #1 favorite!! It's all live music. The warm up was 5 minutes and I enjoyed it. The first 12½ minute segment is Doo-Wop. The second 10½ minute segment is Latin. The third and final 12½ minute segment is Old-School Funk (easy disco moves). The 8 minute cooldown was also enjoyable. There was some TIFT, but not a whole lot. There was enough that I was able to catch on easily, but still a lot of different moves were packed into those short segments. Jane's cuing was excellent and none of the background people annoyed me. She's so much more fun than Denise Austin. I know I'll be doing this workout a lot! |
