Thumbs up Jane Fonda "Prime Time: Firm & Burn"

Prime Time: Firm & Burn

I pretty much stay away from any non-walking cardio workouts. Beginners dance videos are usually too frustrating for me because I struggle with the choreography. Anyway, I watched some clips of Jane's workout and I thought the moves looked easy and fun like a Denise Austin type of workout. I tried it today and I it soooo much! It was the most fun I've had exercising in a really long time. I have a new #1 favorite!! It's all live music. The warm up was 5 minutes and I enjoyed it. The first 12½ minute segment is Doo-Wop. The second 10½ minute segment is Latin. The third and final 12½ minute segment is Old-School Funk (easy disco moves). The 8 minute cooldown was also enjoyable. There was some TIFT, but not a whole lot. There was enough that I was able to catch on easily, but still a lot of different moves were packed into those short segments. Jane's cuing was excellent and none of the background people annoyed me. She's so much more fun than Denise Austin. I know I'll be doing this workout a lot!

I'm so glad you found a workout you liked. And that Jane hasn't lost her gift for leading a good workout.

Thanks, Kelly, for bringing this workout to my attention. I now have it and love it, too!
I use wrist weights to work the upper body muscles more and really enjoy a lovely workout, especially on those days when I need to take it down a notch.
Love the music and the pleasant energy of this workout. So glad I read your enabling post!

I love this workout too! Great energy, fun and easy to follow. And you get out of it what you put in, so decent cardio is definitely there for you, without the joint wear and tear!

That's good to know. Thanks for the info. I never thing of Amazon Prime when I'm browsing workouts.
