Sorry to leave you alone, Cleda. You've been crushing it! Talking about Jon Hosking and the tread workouts makes me miss Peloton. I've definitely got enough other choices to give it a break, though.

I did do a brisk walk on Wednesday, but I think I tweaked my knee in the process. Nothing too serious, but I'm being cautious.

3/21 - 45 min. Walk to the Hits, Party Songs w/ Leslie
3/22 - Bellicon's Active Brain w/ Fayth, 21 min.
Keli Robert's A.S.A.P., 31 min. This was harder than I remembered.
I'm also planning on more gardening this afternoon. Time will tell.

I took a break from Firm Fiday because of my knee (and I can't do too many Firms). During the great basement clean-up all of my balls were inflated, so I'm trying to use my stability ball more. I can't say I'm loving it, but that could be because it's harder than I remember. I am still working my way through my DVDs, so that's a good thing.

I'm alive. Schlumping badly - DH has been gone a month now - not home until Easter.

Have to be brief as having unexpected visitors this afternoon whom we only see every few years - need to spruce house.

Sorry I've not been here. Done some, not much.

Thanks for the call the other day Cleda - it was wonderful to HEAR you!!

Really not much to report here. I think I picked up a cold bug at the mall and started feeling sick the following Wednesday. I finally felt better yesterday and didn't take a nap and did 3 walks for the first time in almost a week. I ran errands to pick up stuff I was out of or almost out of and boy did that add up! Plus I had to pick up Cyric's heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. Ouch! It's hard to believe I paid double that for so many years with two dogs.

We got snow on Sunday, I think they said about 7", but then it turned to freezing rain and then to just heavy rain, so nearly all the snow is gone. Hubby did shovel once. Hmm..actually, that may have been on Friday, I think we got a couple inches then. The days seriously got all confused for me with both of us sick and him coming home early on Friday. We were supposed to play D&D on Sunday but rescheduled. It's supposed to be mostly highs in the 40s for the next week then they're saying 60s but we'll see.

I had just started a new rotation when I got sick so I'm just going to restart it on Monday. I'd like to run tmrw but we'll see. I'm still coughing some and don't really want to set off a fit. I for sure will jump rope so I don't lose my consecutive week streak! I've spent the last couple mornings trying to catch up on my logs, so I haven't been very active yet.

So excited today is baseball opening day! My Twins don't play till 3:10 so I've got a few things to get done before then. I will have to miss a little to walk Cyric and run an errand with hubby, but hopefully it won't take too long, and at least I can listen while I do those things. GO TWINS!!

Sooo.... March was pretty much a write-off for me, being back to work & DH away the entire month.
But it's the first today. We've been in Sydney all day to visit with the girls & see Bridget's new place, which is lovely.

Yesterday (31st March), did 60min, Kat Gates - Fast Basic Step #2, and my calves are feeling it today.

Need to get myself back to a regular routine, regardless if DH/Kathryn/Kirrily are with me or not.

Setting up >> April's thread << see you all there.

3/30 & 3/31 - Hiked both days with DH, about 4 miles each day. I also volunteered at Tri-State Bird Rescue on Sunday, which is 3 hours on my feet and moving. Ended the day with 15K steps and very tired.

I don't usually mention my volunteering, but it is a very physical job, so I thought I would add it in. During the winter it is a lot of laundry and cleaning, with a little bird care thrown in. Soon it will be baby bird season, which I really enjoy. That is mostly standing, not as much movement, but I still come home exhausted.

Goodbye March! Bring on the Spring weather!
