8. LES MILLS COMBAT: Extreme Cardio Fighter (v).I really enjoyed this workout. I’m starting to vibe with Dan’s high energy. Dan & Rach kept saying we were going to do a 60 min workout but the workout is only 54 minutes. Beachbody does this a lot, state that workouts are longer than they are.

13. STRONG & SWEATY: PHA. I was sweating more today than I did yesterday. This workout never gets any easier. After STS 2.0, this feels like Cathe is going at warp speed. Normally, the 3 rounds would have a little dread but I felt none of that today.
Noon. Turbo Fire: Firestarter. P.M. Yv2: WISI .
14. LITE: Rev’d Up Rumble. P.M. Yv2: MYB
15. LIS: Athletic Training
16. LES MILLS COMBAT: Ultimate Warrior’s Workout. P.M. Yv2: SS
17. STS Total Body + CIZE: Hold Your Own - I did 10 reps for the 1st Trisets & 8 reps for 2nd Trisets. Cathe really moves fast in this and I wanted to lift heavier, so kept it similar to STS 2.0. Love.

✨✨August 2023✨✨


1 - Travis Eliot's Empowered Day 1 - Intention. I've now been away from my mat for 6 months and I'm feeling it everywhere. Time to put away my ego and restart with the moderate series. Even that was challenging, but we start where we start.
2 - Rest. Got home relatively early but then there was a fridge full of produce that needed to be cooked. If standing, grating, chopping and stirring counts, I guess I did the CookMax workout.
3 - Travis Eliot's Yin Yoga Stars. Wonderful before bedtime!
4 - Rest. Too busy with work
5 - Walk/bike around Shanghai. Busy running my errands, added up to about an hour of biking and an hour of walking in the summer heat. I'm gonna count it.
6 - Rest. A summer head cold made me sleepy.
7-8 - Rest. Still tired from a cold.
9 - Travis Eliot's Yoga 30for30 Intention. After so long away, I joined Ann for the online morning session. The mat and Ann will always be there to welcome me home.
10 - Travis Eliot's Yoga 30for30 Chi Flow. The upside of being away from my mat is that I seem to have come back with beginners mind. Really appreciated this practice today.
11 - Rest. Both Ann and I overslept - and then I didn't have time
12 - Travis Eliot's Empowered Day 2 - Awaken.
13 - Travis Eliot's Empowered Day 1 - Intention.
14 - Travis Eliot's Empowered Day 3 - Levity.

I'd find your CookMax totally exhausting! I feel like I've done a full day's work if I just make a batch of biscuits (cookies).

Helen, good to "see" you and what an adorable picture!

T2B, I have to say, this summer you are keeping your mojo way above the norm (from past summers!). I know how the heat sometimes can take a toll on your motivation....I'm sure it helped to have a new program to follow! Awesome job!! What's the plan for August?

Hi AMD - Congrats on your 38th Anniversary! I hope you had a great celebration. I think my new HVAC got me through my summer slump. My AC had been underperforming for a few years so it’s nice to have an efficient and functioning AC. . Having a new program helped too! Next, I’m going to do Cathe’s April 2022 rotation. After that I may do the 90 Day Xtrain with some STS 2.0 workouts replacing the Burn Sets workouts.
