Coregeous ball knockoff?

Has anyone here ever used something besides a Coregeous ball for Jill Miller's exercises?

I got an email from Jill saying the Coregeous balls are two for $20 this month. It made me think of mine, and I wondered how it was holding up. I hadn't used it in ages, and I'd stuffed all those things into a credenza (cabinet? entertainment center? console?) and found that it had stuck to the shelf. There's sticky stuff all over the ball and the shelf. Goo Gone didn't remove it, but it did remove some of the finish from the shelf.

I read some reviews on Amazon and see that others have had the same problem with the ball ruining walls, shelves, etc. Amazon has some cheaper knockoffs. Has anyone tried those? I could just trash it and not get another one since I don't use it anymore. But I figure as soon as I do that, I'll wish I had it. However, I don't want to lie on a sticky Coregeous ball. And I don't want to spend $19 (Amazon) or $30 (Tune Up Fitness two-fer).

I've used my pilates ball instead of the Coregeous ball. And, I tell my clients to look at the Dollar Store or Walmart for balls that might work for them.

I use Pinkly balls for my participants that attend my retreats. We don't need the tote.

You can sometimes find them at Dollar General, etc. I bought a box of them for my retreats. They are cheap and are just as good as the toted YTU balls.

I think the ball I am using now instead of the Coregous ball is from my old Barre3 set.

Thanks, Jackie. Do you have trouble inflating whichever ball you use? The Coregeous ball uses a straw to inflate, and when you remove the straw, the ball loses air before you can plug the hole. I suppose it doesn't matter, but every time I see a picture of someone holding the ball, it looks to be completely inflated.

I haven't inflated a ball for a long time as I like them slightly flat. I've used the straw, no problem. I just kind of cover up the hole and move quickly.
