Pat-sending good thoughts for your surgery!!

My left knee is a little cranky from yesterday's long cardio, so I did a shorter workout this morning:

KCM: TLC workout one-I haven't done this in years...I think I'm kind of over Kelly also (after breaking up with Chalene Johnson a few weeks ago!). It was okay, but I miss the fun energy and music of Body Combat

Lee Holden 20 minute practice Moving meditation energy...something.....forget the dvd title! I shouldn't have done something where you practically stand still for twenty minutes right after cardio. Oh, well.

I am trying to fit in qi gong/tai chi. I may or may not do yoga later.

I'll try to check back later.

Ha! Sherry got bit by the Body Combat bug!! ;-) Now you see why they are my favorites!

Just a quick drive by. I did a LOVELY practice from Udaya today from Anna Orbison called Sauca: Clearing your Mind and your Space. Really lovely flow that wasn't too fast but did have some nice gentle movement and stretches. More twists, some great balancing moves and two of my favorites...Lizard and Pigeon. Great practice to start the week with.
Back later with more.

Have a GREAT week everyone!

Kate, yes Body Combat are my absolute favorite kickboxing. They have basically ruined me for any other kickboxing!

I did twenty minutes of a Soul Sweat class. I needed some dance I may do some bedtime yoga if I remember .

The roof guy from last week did call and show up. He will contact us back with an estimate.

Have a good evening.

Today’s workouts:
~Ellen’s Dancing Barefoot - This was pleasant enough, but nothing special, lots of TIFTTing which I don’t mind. It was a good pace for me right now.
~ETV: Jenny B’s Full Body
~MFML: Love Your Neck, Shoulders, & Upper Back - Cyana, I finally clued in that the search feature works so much better on the app. I was using the website on my tablet and it was finicky most of the time.

Pat - Sending love and healing vibes your way, hope all goes smoothly tomorrow! I need to get back at smoothies, stocked up on some ingredients in my big grocery order today.

Sherry - Glad your roof guy came through.

Kate - I love lizard & pigeon. I have a couple of bolster supported versions of pigeon that I especially love for long yin holds.

Sherry & Kate - I’ve never done any Les Mills workouts. Does he sell downloads? It may have changed but I remember looking at his streaming site and it wasn’t available in Canada.

Pam, Les Mills streaming became available in Canada a few months ago. I saw a code for a 21day free trial. I will try to find it.

Pam, if you have a paid subscription for Les Mills on demand, they have an option to download classes so you can use them offline. You cannot purchase individual classes.

Hello yoginis!

Today’s workouts:
~Essentrics Precho 1 - standing segment
~YT: 10 min Pilates Ring Workout with Robin Long - nice but mainly core & lower body focused.
~YT: Magic Circle Arm Series - nice but rushed, I had to keep pausing to get all the reps in.
~Yoga Collective: Balance a Little of Everything Yin - first 25 min, this was lovely but I ran out of time so hope to do the whole practice soon.

Hope your world looks a little brighter & clearer after your surgery Pat!

Waves to all!

Hi, Pam!

Yesterday was a planned rest day. I had hoped to do yoga, but it did not happen. Today may be an unplanned rest day. My sleep was horrible. I may try to do something short later. I have PMS and with the coronovirus news my mood is pretty low...maybe some dancing or yoga will help. I did get in three cardio/three yoga this week, so if today is a rest day it's not the end of the world. I will definitely get back to it tomorrow.

I went to a local grocery store, and it was bordering on crazy. They did still have bottled water. I did not check for toilet paper. I did buy spray cleaner with bleach because we actually needed it for regular cleaning. I did not see any sanitizing wipes, and I'm sure they're out of hand sanitizer.

I hope everyone else is doing well.
