I love this video for the lower body! The warm up is fun, and stretches each side twice. (At first I thought she forgot one side) The warmup is a good length and I feel that it does a great job. The music is good, too.

The lower body standing primarily has squats & lunges, with a few quad extensions and kicks to the back thrown in. There are a few glute squeezes at the end. Cory says if you stick with this workout 2-3 times a week, she'll guarantee you'll get results. I believe it, since I feel the burn!

The floor work segment is done on the back, so that would be a benefit for those with knee problems. This consists mostly of glute squeezes and most are done one leg at a time. Your glutes will feel this after this segment!

The ab work is very good and tough. I have been doing Pilates for abs, so I skip this section and do the glutes only. This makes it about a 20 minute workout that is great for when I'm short on time.

Instructor Comments:
She's fun and encouraging.

I bought this because it's part of Cory's Get Hard series (a series of only 2, unfortunately), and I was hoping it would be as tough as Arms & Shoulders. Alas, it was not. It's okay, but nothing to get excited about. The glute work is your typical squats (many reps with different variations) and a little bit of floor work. You can add weight to make it harder, but it still doesn't compare to Cathe F's MIS or some of the FIRM tapes. The ab work is pretty good -- I especially like the oblique exercises.

I'll keep this for variety or for "short days," but it will never be one of my favorites. Grade B.

Instructor Comments:
I keep waiting for the day when Cory will make another tape as great as Get Hard Arms & Shoulders.
