I thought this video would have a great fun factor upon previewing it. It's filmed outdoors with a large group of exercisers. The scenery is beautiful. Alas, the workout itself is just okay. Tom and Gus instruct with a tag team approach which works if the transitions are fairly quick. Unfortunately, theirs are not, causing a lag in the workout pace. You start off with a thorough warm up and stretch. Then move into the kickboxing segments. The choreography is pretty basic. Jabs, upper cuts, kicks put together by each instructor for their segment. The problem with the flow of the workout is that in between each segment, there is a stopping point where there is like a billboard that comes up telling you which segment number you are on. You then come back to the group and march in place to learn the upcoming combination. This annoyed me alot! There is too much marching in place and the workout is too choppy. I have one other complaint about the tape and that is the music. It is very basic and not motivating at all. This could have been a much better tape had there been less breaks between the combinations. I give it a B-/C+.
