Cassie is a very cheerful youtube star with her Pop Pilates, and has come out with two DVDs, both of which I really enjoy and are a great value (they tend to be low priced on Amazon). This workout is structured in three, 10 minute chapters, all focused on the abs. They are all filmed outside on the beach and have awesome, pop music. The 10 minute chapters make this DVD ideal for add ons, and you can also play all three chapters at once.

Lower Belly Blast, my personal favorite, is all performed laying face up and really slams the lower abdominals. The exercises include leg circles, leg drops, lower crunch, and lots of rollover variations, which really fatigue the lower belly area.

Muffintop Melter, another awesome workout, focuses on the obliques with side kneeling leg pulses and side laying leg raises. These workouts work the obliques and also the butt!

Hard Core is a total abs workout, includes some exercises in plank and more classic pilates style prone work.

Cassie offers so much free content on youtube, that I do try to support her when she produces DVDs. Also, the DVDs tend to be very affordable, I picked I up for about $5 new. Yes, the exercises she includes here are a lot of the same ones she has on her free workouts, but the sequencing is a little different in all of the workouts that I have tried.

Instructor Comments:
Cassie is very encouraging and friendly, and gives good form pointers. She is SOOOO cheerful that you may want to be in the “mood” for her, and her energy gives her pilates workout more energy than most pilates workouts which are calmer and low key (which can be a good thing too).
