I just finished this work-out. Since the work-out booklet details every exercise, I will just comment on the work-out itself. Most of the exercises will be familiar to you. Nothing new here. What is nice is the amount of stretching between. I always cramp a lot on the second side, and with other work-outs, I would pause the video to get that stretch. She does it for you here, which I liked. She uses the band glute squeezes, which I really liked. It makes me feel them quite a bit. When she pulled the dumbbell I thought, oh no, we are going to do hydrants with this thing at our knees. I hate those. I was very thankful that it was just to place my foot on. However, my foot rolled and my weight was the same type as hers. So I got my Wii board out because it was close and that worked quite sufficiently. She has quite a bit of core work in this video as well.

I did not think the warm-up got me warmed up enough to do this cold the first thing in the morning, so would recommend some more movement than she does before going into the warm-up. This work-out worked a lot of those little muscles that are hard to work and are very important to the hip. As a hip replacement patient, I believe my PT would be extremely happy with all of these moves. If you do not have weak hips, great!, keep doing these type of moves so if you are ever faced with hip surgery you will fly through it!

Music was so-so. At first I thought, hmmm, don't like, but I got used to the style and it did not bother me. A lot of moves are not done on the beat, so if that is something that bothers you, you may not like this.

Instructor Comments:
Cathe and crew have bright tanks on which is refreshing in this cold winter. She did a good job of showing and talking you through each move. I did not preview the video, just did it, and it was fine. She gave a couple of modifications, but not a lot. Since it is more intermediate than other videos she has done like this she probably did not need to.
