A short, well-designed HiiT workout. Cathe and her four backgrounders do a series of drill-based Hiit exercises, some weighted (they use one 8# and one 10# dumbbell) to get the heart rate pumped. There is no complicated choreography at all, and just enough rest between moves to get your heart back down into your aerobic zone before Cathe pushes you to go close to anaerobic again.

The cardio section clocks in at 22 minutes, so with warmup and cooldown/stretch, this workout comes in just under 30 minutes. I'd rate it intermediate to low advanced, and you can increase intensity with speed, heavier weights, deeper lunges/squats/knee bends or bigger arm/traveling leg movements.

The music is forgettable and Cathe is on the beat about half the time.

Instructor Comments:
Professional, well cued, enthusiastic.
