This is the third DVD from the Capture the Power set that I’ve done this week. Again I will say that when I originally got this set, early in my vidiocy, I really thought it was the bees knees. I did it a lot and felt that it got me in good shape at the time. This one also uses the “Tae Bo Tools” and is considered the strength workout of the set. I may be a little biased as I write this because I tend to be in the camp where if your workout is a cardio workout, putting out a set that includes strength will not put your best foot forward. The thing is, the strength workouts included in these cardio sets tend to be less effective than an actual strength workout at least in my opinion. That all being said this was a weird mish-mash of strength (using mostly body weight though the ½ lb. Tae Bo Tools are also used). The slower version of the move or combo is considered the strength move, then it’s sped up to be the “energy” speed. There are pushups in the opening warmup/stretch. It ends with a tai chi “stretch” but really a cool down, no stretch.

Instructor Comments:
Billy is his regular self, talks to the camera, encourages you, etc. But never mirror cues and doesn’t evenly work both sides.
