Total Conditioning is set up to improve your conditioning by alternating cardio segments with strength sections. The cardio is designed to emphasize the same muscles as the strength section that follows it.

Lynn tends to set up a pattern for a workout and follow it through and she does it in this workout. She does a cardio section followed by the strength and then repeats it all. There is a lot of TIFTing in this workout. It does feel like a well-planned workout though.

Lynn is one of two exercisers and does the "normal" routine. The other exerciser offers low-impact modifications and does a good job of it. She does not look like she's phoning it in. It is good that this option is offered because many of the moves are high impact. Throughout it all, Lynn offers form pointers and suggestions for modifications (both up and down the intensity scale).

I would rate the workout high intermediate. If you don't mind the TIFTing, it's a pretty well done workout. I found it tiresome though.

Instructor Comments:
I really like Lynn Hahn, even when I'm not in love with her workouts. She is straightforward and comes at exercise from a traditional exercise viewpoint. You won't find a lot of "alternative" or fusiony type moves with her.
